Nightsbridge Integration

This guides you through our integration with Nightsbridge channel manager.

Time to work: 15 mins (but allow time to get the mapping details from Nightsbridge support)

Before the set up

To start integration with Benson, you’ll first need to make sure that you’ve created all the Rate Types and Room Types on Nightsbridge.

You’ll then need to contact Nightsbridge Support for us and request:

  • Your Login Key
  • Room Type ID
  • Rate Type ID

1. Setting Up Nightsbridge

This integration can’t be done with out a Login Key and Room & Rate Type codes (all available from Nightsbridge Support).

Head over to Settings / Integrations can create an integration using ‘Nightsbridge’ from the drop down list. Enter the Login Key and BBID.

2. Room Type ID Mapping

Now that you’ve mapped your property to Nightsbridge, you need to link your Room Types. The list of room types needs to match the list from Nightsbridge ensuing that every room type on Nightsbridge is mapped.

3. Rate Type ID Mapping

Follow the same process for Rate Types. Again all rate types in Nightsbridge must be mapped to Benson.

The integration will now be live.

Sending & Receiving Reservations and Inventory

With the integration activated and ready to go, there are two key things that will now occur between Benson and Nightsbridge.

Firstly, any reservation that is created in Nightsbridge will automatically be sent through to and created in Benson. Provided that Benson can match the selected Rate and Room Type specified by Nightsbridge in the booking, this creation should happen without any problems.

Secondly, your Nightsbridge availablity will be managed by Benson.

Every time your availability on Benson is affected by creating, editing or canceling a reservation, Nightsbridge will be sent an inventory update automatically for the entire affected period. The same applies to whenever a Room is blocked on Benson. In other words, you won’t need to manually send through inventory updates unless the internet goes some or under some other similar circumstance.

NightsBridge will only receive availability from Benson.

Currently (as at Oct 2023) rates are managed within Nightsbridge. Should any Rates come through on a reservation into Benson that do not correspond to the way they should appear on Benson, the reservation will be created regardless.

Nightsbridge are working on improving the integration to allow rates to be fed from Benson – estimated live date in early 2024.
